"Research use only": what the label means and what it does not
Every page on this site carries the same line: for laboratory research use only, not for human or veterinary use. It is not a disclaimer bolted on for legal comfort. It is the description of what these materials are.
The regulatory position
A research-use-only reagent is a material supplied for laboratory work and nothing else. It has not been evaluated for safety or efficacy in people by the FDA, the EMA or any comparable authority, and it holds no marketing authorisation anywhere. It is not a drug, a dietary supplement, a cosmetic or a food, and it is not manufactured under the controls that any of those categories require.
Regulators read the labelling as meaningful rather than decorative. A material sold as a research reagent while being promoted for use in people is, to most authorities, an unapproved drug being marketed unlawfully. The label does not change what the seller is actually doing. That is the reason this site describes chemistry and nothing else. There is no page here about what a compound does in a body, because writing one would misrepresent what is being sold.
What the attestations are for
Checkout requires three confirmations before an order can be created: that you are at least 21, that the materials will be used only for laboratory research and will not be given to humans or animals or put into food, cosmetics or supplements, and that you accept the terms of sale and responsibility for lawful handling, storage and disposal where you are.
These are conditions of supply. Orders inconsistent with a research purpose are cancelled, and the compliance page sets out the grounds. This is a narrower gate than most storefronts use, and it is deliberate.
Legality varies by material and by country
There is no single answer to whether a peptide is legal, because the question resolves differently in every jurisdiction and for every compound.
Some materials in this catalog are prescription biologics in most markets. HCG and HMG are the clear examples, and both are listed with that noted. Some are restricted by name in particular countries: Melanotan I and Melanotan II are not offered to a list of destinations that prohibit their import or sale, and the site enforces that at checkout rather than leaving it to the purchaser. Some are patented investigational substances whose patent holders have taken action against research-use sellers, which is why semaglutide, tirzepatide, retatrutide and several others are excluded from this catalog entirely even though the manufacturer offers them.
Destinations under comprehensive sanctions are not served at all. Others are flagged for review before dispatch. What arrives in a given country, and whether an import permit is required, is a matter of local law, and the responsibility for it sits with the purchaser. Customs paperwork describes the goods as research reagents, which is what they are.
What this site will not tell you
No page here describes an amount, a schedule, a route, a preparation method or an outcome, in any language, for any product. Not because the information is secret, but because supplying it alongside the material would convert a reagent listing into something else. Questions of that kind belong to the published literature and to the professionals who work with it.
What this site will tell you is what is in the vial: sequence, CAS number, molecular formula, molecular weight, purity specification, form, storage, and the test report for the batch you receive. That is the whole scope, and everything in the FAQ and the terms of sale is written to the same boundary.
For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
