About this compound
Dermorphin (CAS 77614-16-5) is a seven-residue peptide, Tyr-D-Ala-Phe-Gly-Tyr-Pro-Ser-NH2, molecular weight 802.9 g/mol, originally isolated from the skin of South American frogs of the genus Phyllomedusa. Its D-alanine at position 2 is unusual for a naturally occurring peptide.
